Vallcarca NEXT

With the urban regeneration and architectural transformation of Vallcarca, Sitges, we aim to revitalize the depreciated area of the cement factory and turn it into a leading district within the knowledge and innovation industry.

This vision outlines the elements of opportunity that the regeneration of this cement plant represents for the new industry of the future. The overall proposal is also outlined with a graphical explanation of the regeneration strategy and a masterplan and zoning breakthrough. Some of the first images of the future Vallcarca are included, to end with some brief conclusions that will be taken into account to draw up the definitive urban planning proposal.

This project offers an integrated summary of our master planning and urban design process based on research, analysis and collaboration with other specialists, reflected in the research work of the Garraf Natural Park and the Vallcarca Cement, and regulatory, planning and territorial analysis documents.
