ARE Sant Joan Despí

At city level, the Can Creixells area is an opportunity to stitch together the meeting between the municipalities of Sant Joan Despí and Sant Feliu de Llobregat, in such a way that continuity is given to their systems of facilities and open spaces, as well as in the road system. Based on the recognition of the existing public image and urban form, we can give continuity to leisure spaces and activities; which will be a basic premise to relate to the consolidated fabric.

The extension of Carrer Major is proposed as the central axis of connection and backbone of the new "central park" as it links the urban and rural environment, and at the same time, allows Can Creixells to be valued as a new urban centrality.

Can Creixells as an opportunity to solve the transition between these different situations, generating qualitative spaces of relationship with its immediate environment.

Relink the extension of Carrer Major, Carrer del Mig and Carrer Catalunya; main axes of the urban structure of Sant Joan Despí as central elements of structure and relationship to link the existing urban void with the nucleus of Sant Joan and the nucleus of the sports city and Sant Feliu on the other side of the B-23.
