The planned work consists of demolishing, new construction and remodelling of the buildings in the urban complex. This action involves 3,978 m² of gross floor area and reconditioning 2,366 m² of courtyard.
The most relevant is a listed building from the 1920s, the former Masia Les Carasses, inaugurated as a school in 1931, that became a pillar of pedagogic renewal in the city of Barcelona.
The project is devised as a facility capable of moving beyond the field of teaching, offering neighbours places to interact and meet with children and teachers and becoming a reference point for neighbourhood activities.
