The Strategic Residential Areas are those actions of supra-municipal interest that are promoted by the public administration in order to subsidize land deficits for residential functions, to make effective the citizens' right to decent and adequate housing. The aim of this project is to develop a high quality neighborhood to promote affordable housing, create a city and reorder the territory. This is a very significant opportunity due to its metropolitan centrality (it is located between large mobility infrastructures), to foresee a large volume of protected housing and execute the current planning forecasts in relation to the new road connections. Minimum land reserves have been considered necessary for the public subsidized housing system of 1.5% of the total land of the sectors included in the scope of each PGOU. Also for temporary housing: housing intended to meet the temporary needs of groups of people with assistance or emancipation needs.
