Previous studies of the consolidated urban land sector "Solars d'Endesa a la Vall de Sant Just", in the municipality of Sant Just Desvern.

The arrangement is born from the need to project a new urban habitat, compact, complex, cohesive and diverse; prepared to meet the new challenges of the future and to implement the objectives and strategies of the 2030 Agenda that; among others, allow to increase the municipal housing stock and respond to the residential emergency we are experiencing by promoting social cohesion. The configuration of this kinder, greener and more sustainable city necessarily requires a global reflection of the urban model that makes it possible to implement the objectives and strategies of the 2030 Urban Agenda such as:

Anticipate environmental and landscape recovery by integrating the pre-existences and recovering native vegetation, recover the environmental functionality of the soils and improve the plant system by bringing Collserola closer to the area, favor a gentle transition between the Valls de Sant Just, integrating the landscape and connecting with the Plana Pedrosa urbanization and define the arrangement in an integrated way with the topography recovering the original natural environment in the central part.

Optimizing open spaces and facilities as a central part of reference, identity and social cohesion, the integration of open spaces in the general system of the municipality and the environment, favoring routes and the connectivity of existing systems, providing the neighborhood with an active "centre", which is a reference and element of cohesion, connection, relationship and own identity of the neighborhood and connecting the equipment with the free spaces to energize the spaces with functionality and various scales contributing to the cohesion and identity of the neighborhood.
